NFL world reacts to Jalen Hurts beating Tua Tagovailoa

NFL fans were treated to an entertaining Sunday Night Football matchup, featuring Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa.

The Philadelphia Eagles hosted the Miami Dolphins and earned a 31-17 victory.

Jalen Hurts got the better of Tua Tagovailoa in their first matchup against each other as former Alabama teammates. Hurts sported a brace on his left leg, but he bounced back from whatever bothered him to total three touchdowns. He posted two touchdown passes and a rushing score, leading the Eagles to its sixth victory of the season. Hurtss assisted wide receiver A.J. Brown to a marquee outing of 10 catches for 137 yards and a touchdown. After dropping a game to the Detroit Lions, Eagle fans were happy to see Hurts lead the team to a huge win over Miami. The NFL world reacted to Hurts’ toughness in guiding Philadelphia over Miami on Twitter. He continues to prove that he is one of the best young quarterbacks in the league.

 

Brown discussed Hurts’ warrior mentality after the game. He did not put his quarterback’s business out there, but he knew Hurts was dealing with an injury. Brown is thankful he has a quarterback who will battle through anything to play with his teammates.
