Former Alabama defensive lineman, Antonio Alfano is a wanted man on the recruiting front as Auburn jumps in on his recruitment.
Alfano is a former five-star, who started his college football career at the University of Alabama. He departed from the program during his freshman season and has bounced around the college football scene due to issues, including medical problems which he previously released a statement about.
“I pray that I at least get the answers I need to be on the right medication, so I can just get my life back,” Alfano said in the statement. “Football isn’t a reality for me right now, the only thing I care about most is getting my life back and not being controlled by this medication.”
Alfano has found a new home at Lackawanna College in Pennsylvania, and his recruitment is off the charts right now. He is one of the hottest names in JUCO football with offers from LSU, Miami, USC and most recently, Oregon.

The New Jersey native is listed at 6-foot-5 and 285 pounds on Lackawanna’s roster, and he has been impressive this season along the defensive front.
