The first College Football Playoff rankings were released Tuesday night with Alabama coming in at No. 8 in the first week’s show.
The Crimson Tide were previously ranked No. 8 in the AP Top 25 following its 34-20 win over Tennessee last weekend.
Nick Saban and company will now be turning their attention to LSU this weekend who was ranked No. 14, and will surely hold large implications for not only next week’s rankings but also who will be in the driver’s seat of the SEC West.
