Alabama football debuted at No. 8 in Tuesday’s first edition of College Football Playoff rankings.
Ohio State (No. 1), Georgia (No. 2), Michigan (No. 3), and Florida State (No. 4) are the top four seeds while Washington (No. 5) and Oregon (No. 6) are on the outside looking in to represent the Pac-12. The Crimson Tide faces LSU on Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium at 6:45 pm CT on CBS. Alabama would punch its ticket for an SEC Championship shot with a win over LSU.
