Alabama fans can only relish being a fly on the wall during Kevin Steele’s halftime message to the defense.
The Crimson Tide allowed 21 points in the first half to LSU at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Jayden Daniels was gashing Alabama’s run defense with his legs to the tune of 141 yards and a touchdown.
Coach Steele’s words got the players’ attention at halftime, and the 65-year-old continues to be the best at second-half adjustments. Alabama limited Daniels to 22 yards rushing in the second half and held Logan Diggs to 24 rushing yards for the game. LSU failed to convert five third-down attempts and had two turnovers on downs. Justin Eboigbe, a senior defensive end, posted a sack of Daniels while Dallas Turner knocked the Heisman Trophy contender out of the game with a punishing hit.
Alabama’s defense forced six pass breakups, and Terrion Arnold recorded an interception off Daniels.
Steele had to have said some choice words at halftime because the Tide came out a different team in the second half.

“If I told you what Coach Steele said at halftime, they would not let me do media anymore,” Terrion Arnold said to reporters about what Steele told the players at halftime versus LSU.
Alabama shut out Tennessee in the second half and held the Tigers to seven points.
Arkansas is the only team since the Crimson Tide’s week two loss to Texas that’s outscored it in the second half (15-13).
Steele has done what Pete Golding failed to do in five years at the program. He makes adjustments quickly and gets his players to focus on being fast, physical, and relentless. Coach Steele has the Tide’s defense in the driver’s seat to win the SEC West after a 42-28 victory over the Tigers. The attention now turns to a road meeting against Kentucky next week.
