The second College Football Playoff rankings were released Tuesday night with Alabama coming in at No. 8 following its 42-28 win over LSU last Saturday.
This is now the second consecutive week the Crimson Tide has ranked No. 8 in the playoff rankings.
Despite not shifting up, Alabama will now turn its attention to Kentucky for a big road matchup against the Wildcats to attempt to lock up the SEC West.
