Georgia held off Georgia Tech in Atlanta for a 31-23 victory. Both schools will face each other on Saturday in the Southeastern Conference Championship Game inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Alabama is playing for its ninth conference championship under Nick Saban while Kirby Smart aims for his second SEC title as the Bulldogs’ head coach. Georgia and Alabama have played three times in Saban’s era with the Tide for an SEC Championship. Alabama won all three matchups, and this one has an opportunity to add to the memories. One betting site in Las Vegas already has a point spread for the game.

According to Circa Sports, Georgia is a 4-point favorite over Alabama. The Bulldogs were favored in 2015, the 2021 SEC Championship Game, and the 2018 CFP National Championship Game, but Alabama won all three games.

The Tide has been at its best when it is overlooked. We will see how things flow this weekend.
