Alabama football unveils permanent team captains at annual awards banquet

The University of Alabama football program rejoiced over the weekend.

Alabama earned a Southeastern Conference Championship victory over Georgia and made the College Football Playoff.

Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide will face Michigan in the Rose Bowl on New Year’s Day. Alabama honored its student-athletes on Sunday at the Sheraton (Birmingham, Ala.) during its annual awards banquet. Jalen Milroe (quarterback), Malachi Moore (defensive back), and Dallas Turner (outside linebacker) were unveiled as permanent team captains by their peers.
