The University of Alabama is headed back to the College Football Playoff.

Alabama grabbed the No. 4 spot after defeating Georgia in the Southeastern Conference Championship Game.

Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide will face Michigan in the Rose Bowl on New Year’s Day. Alabama had 11 players named to the All-SEC Coaches teams on Tuesday, including eight first-team selections. JC Latham (offensive lineman), Justin Eboigbe (defensive lineman), Dallas Turner (linebacker), Kool-Aid McKinstry (cornerback), Terrion Arnold (cornerback), Caleb Downs (safety), Will Reichard (placekicker), and Kneeland Hibbett (long snapper) were first-team honorees. The Tide had Tyler Booker (offensive lineman), James Burnip (punter), and Reichard (kickoff specialist) as second-team selections.

Alabama worked its way to an SEC Championship following an early season loss to Texas. It was not pretty, but the team bounced back with 12 straight wins. Coach Saban and the Tide have an opportunity to a CFP National Championship.
