Fourteen players for Alabama football will graduate this weekend for winter commencement

Nick Saban loves seeing his players graduate with degrees more than he enjoys them winning championships.

The University of Alabama has its Winter Commencement this weekend and 14 student-athletes for football will graduate.

According to a press release from the university, several of the athletes are from this year’s Southeastern Conference Championship team and College Football Playoff team. Seth McLaughlin (offensive lineman), Will Reichard (kicker), and Justin Eboigbe (defensive lineman) will march with a Master’s degree. Thomas Fletcher, a former Crimson Tide long snapper, returned to school to finish his Master’s as well. Fletcher, a member of Alabama’s 2017 recruiting class, has two CFP National Championship rings. He got selected in the 2021 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers before getting released.
