One of the best players in Alabama football history, especially in the Nick Saban era, is unsure about his National Football League future with his current team.
Derrick Henry, 29, has given the Tennessee Titans eight years since being drafted in 2016.

He was a second-round selection that became the face of the franchise and one of the faces of the league. The 6-foot-3, 247-pounder has four 1,000+ yard rushing seasons, including two NFL rushing titles in 2019 and 2020. He became the eighth player in NFL history to post 2,000 yards rushing in a single season in 2020. Henry had 2,027 yards rushing and 17 touchdowns, earning NFL’s Offensive Player of the Year honors. He has done a lot for the Titans and the Nashville (Tenn.) community, but is this the final season for Henry in Tennessee? Henry had a moment to reflect on his career with the Titans after Sunday’s loss to the Houston Texans eliminated it from playoff contention. He has three regular season games left to post a fifth 1,000+ yard rushing season, but the 2015 Heisman Trophy winner and CFP National Champion is truly thinking about his next move.
Turron Davenport, an NFL reporter on the Titans for ESPN, details the story on Henry.
This is the first time I can recall Derrick Henry admitting he has taken time to reflect and think about how his time with the #Titans could have little time left. pic.twitter.com/PHI02mbWm8

Tennessee is out of the playoff hunt at 5-9, so Henry does have time to contemplate things.
We will see what his next move becomes.
