WATCH: Alabama football returns to work for Rose Bowl prep against Michigan

John David Mercer - USA Today Sports

The University of Alabama graduated several of its football student-athletes last week, but the team also returned to work in preparing for a College Football Playoff Semifinal matchup against Michigan in the Rose Bowl.

Michigan opened numerous Las Vegas betting sites as a 1.5 to 2-point favorite over the Crimson Tide.

Taylor Lewan, a former offensive lineman for the Wolverines, believes Michigan “has nothing to worry about” when it comes to Alabama. The Tide has all the motivation it needs to come to the West Coast and handle the Wolverines. Alabama has some members of its 2024 recruiting class that arrived on campus early to help the team prepare for the New Year’s Day contest.

Alabama is in pursuit of its 19th national championship in school history and seventh under Nick Saban.

The practice footage from over the weekend is below.

Saban will have his first press conference of Rose Bowl prep Monday at 5:50 pm CT after practice.
