Nick Saban and Alabama face Michigan on New Year’s Day at Rose Bowl Stadium for a College Football Playoff Semifinal matchup. It is the second time that Saban and Jim Harbaugh will battle each other. Both coaches faced-off in the 2020 Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Fla. Alabama earned a 35-16 victory, and went on to have an undefeated CFP National Championship season in 2020. Some photos surfaced on the Crimson Tide’s social media page (X, formerly known as Twitter) after its first practice on the west coast. Michigan is a 1.5 to 2-point favorite, but the Tide looks forward to giving a dominant showing.

The matchup is set for 4:00 p.m. CT on Jan. 1, 2024.
