Jalen Milroe is one of the many current and former Alabama football players, who will cherish memories made playing under Nick Saban.
Milroe made an appearance at the 39th Annual TRISTAR Houston Collection Show on Saturday. Media members caught up with him and asked him about the memories of Saban he will cherish moving forward. The Alabama quarterback recalled Saban’s consistent desire to get better in every game at every moment in his answer.
“I think the biggest thing that I say he never changes no matter what the score is in the game,” Milroe said. “Coach gonna coach, I remember playing an opponent and we winning by a large margin, I’m talking about the games over with and it’s like a few minutes left in the game. He’s still screaming, yelling, good energy on the sideline. We’re just looking like coach. The game’s almost over with. So, we have a lot of good memories.”
Milroe and the Crimson Tide are now transitioning to the DeBoer era in Tuscaloosa with Kalen DeBoer taking over as the head football coach at Alabama.
