Crowell is a freshman running back at Jackson High School in Jackson, Alabama, and he holds offers from some of the top programs in the country after one season starting at the high school football level. Georgia, Alabama, Texas and Florida State have already extended college football offers to the rising football prospect.
The Jackson product left Tuscaloosa feeling good about Alabama football and its culture under the new staff in Tuscaloosa.
“The whole Bama staff and the culture at Alabama are the best feeling,” Crowell told Touchdown Alabama.
A look at Alabama’s facilities was also a part of Crowell’s visit.
“The weight room and indoor facilities are nice,” said Crowell. “Itβs a great feeling walking through those doors.”
Crowell had a breakout freshman season for the Aggies. He ran for 1,737 yards and 25 touchdowns on 166 carries. He was also productive catching the ball out of the backfield with 11 receptions for 212 yards and five touchdowns.
At 5-foot-11 and 205 pounds, Crowell has a physical running style as he put together multiple impressive runs, where he broke multiple tackles during the 2023 football season. He is the type of running back you must wrap up to take down as arm tackles will not bring him down.
