Alabama transfer QB tells Tide fans ‘don’t worry’ amid Ryan Grubb’s departure

Washington QB Austin Mack (#10) throwing passes in warmups before 2023 matchup against USC Trojans.

Alabama football’s newest quarterback addition Austin Mack confirmed he is sticking around Tuscaloosa despite the Crimson Tide losing Ryan Grubb to the Seattle Seahawks.

“Dw (Dont worry) we locked in. ROLL DAMN TIDE,” Mack tweeted.

Mack is a former Washington quarterback, who transferred after Kalen DeBoer was hired as the Crimson Tide’s head coach. He is also a former four-star prospect, who reclassified from the 2024 to the 2023 recruiting class.

The California native has a lot of potential at the quarterback position, standing at 6-foot-6. He is expected to push to make a name for himself in the future in Tuscaloosa.
