He was not a 1,000-yard wide receiver at Alabama, but he did help the Crimson Tide dethrone a two-time defending College Football Playoff National Champion in a Southeastern Conference title matchup.
Jermaine Burton transferred from Georgia to Alabama in 2022. He assisted the Bulldogs to a CFP National Championship in 2021, but he relished his lone season with Bryce Young. Burton had to learn the Alabama culture in his first season; however, he recorded 677 yards receiving and seven touchdowns on 40 catches. The Tide suffered a pair of losses in 2022, but Burton totaled 87 yards and a touchdown in a 45-20 victory over Kansas State in the Allstate Sugar Bowl. Burton, a California native, had 39 receptions for 798 yards and eight scores in 2023. He got the Crimson Tide back into the CFP after missing out the previous year.

Burton does not have game-breaking speed, but he is one of the best route runners in the draft class.
Alabama fans will look forward to watching him Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium for on-field workouts.
He has an opportunity to let everyone see why he is one of the best wide outs entering the National Football League.
