Cobey Sellers picked up his most recent offer from Alabama football Monday and reported the news to social media.
Sellers attends Shadow Creek High School in Pearland, Texas, and he is a 2025 defensive back prospect. He is currently a consensus four-star recruit, and he recently released a top six. Georgia, LSU, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas and Texas A&M make up Sellers’ top six at the moment.
The junior is looking forward to learning more about the new regime in Tuscaloosa.
“It’s a great offer to have, and I hope I can build a relationship with the coaching staff,” Sellers Touchdown Alabama. “It has always been a great program. I think coach DeBoer can keep it going.”
Sellers is listed at around 5-foot-11 and possesses great ball skills in coverage with his ability to close on receivers and make plays on the football. The four-star feels his ball skills and speed make him a unique football player.
“My speed combined with my ball-tracking skills is what I think separates me from a lot of other players,” Sellers answered when asked about what the strengths of his game are.
