He did not hit a backflip like Terrion Arnold and Jermaine Burton, but JC Latham knows he aced the NFL Scouting Combine.
Latham, a former five-star in Alabama’s 2021 recruiting class, is the ideal right tackle for any NFL team but wants to be tried at left tackle.
He played in 41 career games — including 27 starts — as a right tackle for Alabama.

The Wisconsin native made first-team All-Southeastern Conference in 2023, following a season where he helped the Crimson Tide to an SEC Championship and a berth in the College Football Playoff. Latham had an impressive weigh-in at 6’5″ (an inch shorter than on Alabama’s roster) and 342 pounds (dropped 18 pounds from playing weight last season).
He measured out with 11″ hands, 35 1/8″ arms, and an 84 3/8″ wingspan. Latham allowed just two sacks in 408 pass set snaps in 2023 for the Tide.
He moved very well for his size during his on-field workout at the NFL Combine. Latham showed quickness, agility, power, explosiveness, and shifty footwork. He would make an exceptional right tackle in the National Football League, especially if the right franchise takes him. Most draft pundits have him going in the middle of the first round, between picks 15-20.

Several teams need an offensive tackle, including the New England Patriots, Tennessee Titans, New York Jets, Las Vegas Raiders, New Orleans Saints, Jacksonville Jaguars, Cincinnati Bengals, Pittsburgh Steelers, Houston Texans, Green Bay Packers, San Francisco 49ers, and Kansas City Chiefs.
