6-foot-4 OL Bear McWhorter loves the way Chris Kapilovic coaches

Bear McWhorter was re-offered by Alabama football’s new staff Monday when he visited the Crimson Tide.

McWhorter is a 2026 offensive lineman out of Cass High School in Georgia. He is currently committed to the Arkansas Razorbacks. His offer list includes previous offers from Nick Saban’s Alabama staff, Georgia, Florida State, Tennessee and others.

McWhorter’s new Tide offer came from Alabama’s offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic. He got an opportunity to watch Kapilovic in action during his visit when he watched practice.

“The practice was really good,” McWhorter told Touchdown Alabama. “I loved the way Kap coaches and was really impressed with what I saw from the team.”

The sophomore is confident in Alabama’s new staff as a whole.

“It’s a great staff, and I expect big things from them this coming season.”

The Tide will look to get McWorther back on campus in the future.

McWhorter is listed at approximately 290 pounds and he stands at 6-foot-4. He reportedly finished the year giving up zero sacks on 518 snaps, which 201 were passing attempts.
