Cleveland attends Prattville High School in Prattville, Alabama, and he garners a four-star rating from all major recruiting sites. He holds previous offers from Alabama’s Nick Saban staff, Georgia, Texas and others.
The Prattville product got back to Tuscaloosa to camp and got a chance to spend time with the new Crimson Tide staff.
“It felt great being able to get back there on campus and being able to meet and see some of the new staff and put in some work,” Cleveland told Touchdown Alabama.
Alabama’s defensive line coach Freddie Roach has built a relationship with Cleveland with him being a part of Nick Saban’s staff. Kalen DeBoer caught up with Cleveland during his visit.
“I think coach DeBoer is a great guy, great coach, and he’s going to hold everyone accountable and to a certain standard,” Cleveland said. “Alabama is still going to be Alabama.”
At 6-foot-4 and 305 pounds, Cleveland is dominant in the trenches for the Lions. He plays with active hands combined with an explosive burst off the snap of the football.
