Jalen Milroe paid respect to Jalen Hurts Saturday after leading Alabama to a win over Georgia.
Milroe and Hurts have quite a bit in common. Both of them are Texas natives, both are former four-star recruits and both have helped the Tide seal wins over the Georgia Bulldogs.
Milroe sported a shirt with Jalen Hurts printed on it after leading the Tide to a 41-34 win over the Bulldogs. He showed his admiration for the Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterback during his media availability.
“Jalen Hurts is a great person to look at when it comes to handling adversity, when it comes to playing the position,” Milroe said. “I’m a Texas kid. He’s a Texas kid, and he was one of the reason why I came to University of Alabama. If we look back when Alabama played Georgia, then he stepped into the game. So, I wanted to represent him today. If he’s out there watching, Hey, Jalen Hurts. I love Jalen Hurts. think he’s a great quarterback, and I just wanna represent him today.”
