Jalen Hurts is on pace to having his best season in the National Football League statistically since the 2022 campaign, where he guided the Philadelphia Eagles to the Super Bowl.

He has always had doubters, but those are growing smaller with each season. In his fifth year in the NFL, Hurts has the Eagles tied for the second-best record in the National Football Conference (NFC) at 7-2. He has Philadelphia as the clear-cut best team in the NFC East with eight games left in the regular season. Hurts has three 3,000-plus yard passing seasons in five years and is on the verge of a fourth one. He currently has 1,976 passing yards in nine games; however, the native Texan has a career-high in completion percentage (69.8), yards per pass attempt average (8.4), and passer rating (103.4).
He has a strong touchdown to interception ratio at 12 to five and has 22 total touchdowns. Hurts has four consecutive seasons with at least 10 rushing scores, dating back to 2021. The former Alabama quarterback has the Eagles on a five-game winning streak after Sunday’s victory.
Hurts led Philadelphia to a 34-6 division win over the Dallas Cowboys.
He was extremely sharp in the passing game, completing 14 of 20 passes (70 percent) for 202 yards and four total touchdowns to one interception. Hurts posted a passer rating of 115 and rushed for 56 yards on seven carries with two touchdowns. Johnny Wilson and Dallas Goedert caught Hurts’ scoring tosses, but A.J. Brown had 109 yards receiving on five catches from Hurts.
The 2017 College Football Playoff National Champion has five straight games with a passer rating of 100 or higher. He has six games with a completion percentage of 70 percent or better and four games with at least two touchdown passes.

Hurts has the fifth-highest passer rating among NFL quarterbacks. He also tied for fifth in touchdowns passes (12).
Philadelphia in a lot of Super Bowl bubbles for the national media because of Hurts. He looks to have the Eagles in position to officially win it all this season. The 26-year-old is starting to separate himself as one of the best young quarterbacks in the league.
