Following Alabama’s loss to Michigan, former Alabama linebacker Joshua McMillon reacted to people criticizing Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe on X.
McMillon posted the following statement to X:
The @JalenMilroe disrespect is crazy! Not to blame the offensive line but this mane clearly was pressured and put in situations to not succeed. Look at this gameplan vs Georgia’s or even LSU. Got to understand the game!

Milroe had arguably one of the poorest performances of his Alabama career on Tuesday afternoon in the ReliaQuest Bowl. He finished the game 16/32 passing for 192 yards for a touchdown and an interception. In addition, Milroe had two fumbles.
It will be interesting to see what Milroe decides to do in regards to his future. This very well could have been his final game in an Alabama uniform. Nonetheless, McMillon took up for the signal-caller and made it clear what his stance was on the Milroe critics.
