Former Alabama offensive lineman Mike Johnson made an interesting comment on X regarding the Tide’s wide receivers during the ReliaQuest Bowl on Tuesday.
Johnson said, “The body language of Bama’s receivers is… interesting”. The timing of Johnson’s comment creates a lot of intrigue given the offensive struggles in Tuesday’s loss to Michigan.
There seemed to be something lacking offensively for the Crimson Tide. Quarterback Jalen Milroe and the wide receivers seemed to be on two different pages for the majority of the game.
Johnson was likely not the only Alabama alumni or fan to notice that the wide receivers were reacting differently in today’s game. Something just seemed off. That is the best way to put it. Jalen Milroe’s future remains uncertain, but it seems like he likely played his last game in an Alabama uniform this afternoon.
