Former USC safety Su’a Cravens made an interesting comment on his X account following Alabama’s loss to Michigan in the ReliaQuest Bowl.
Cravens posted the following:
Say what you want about Milroe… I wouldn’t mind seeing him in a QB battle over here in LA if he decided to transfer instead of going to the league! #FightOn✌🏽 https://t.co/uGAjQQhurC

Cravens comment comes at a time when many Alabama fans are trying to run Milroe out of Tuscaloosa with hopes that the coaching staff will turn the page at the quarterback position. The majority of Alabama’s fanbase is ready to move on and seek new options. However, Cravens holds a different stance which can seems rather puzzling but reasonable at the same time.
In 2024, USC struggled significantly to have consistency from its quarterbacks. With USC head coach Lincoln Riley being one of the best quarterback developers and offensive minds in college football, he might be able to get the best out of Milroe. Regardless of what Cravens or naysayers might believe, the comment comes at a weird time. What did Cravens possibly see that he liked from Milroe in the ReliaQuest Bowl? What makes him want Milroe to be the future signal-caller of the Trojans? Those are two questions that I think a lot of people would ask themselves after reading his comment.
