Former Alabama quarterback, Mac Jones feels the play call, which resulted in Ohio State freshman, Jeremiah Smith, walking into the endzone against Notre Dame in the National Championship looked really familiar.
“Seen that one before,” Jones posted to X after Ohio State scored on the play.
Jones’ post to X has caught steam with many showing how similar the play was to one Alabama ran against Ohio State in the 2021 National Championship. Both plays resulted in touchdowns. The Tide were able to put up six points with a throw from Jones to Smith with the creative play call.
