Alabama football’s defensive back, Red Morgan is putting in offseason work with former Crimson Tide defensive back, Justin Woodall.

Morgan was contributor as a true freshman for the Crimson Tide in 2024, participating in 12 games. Kalen DeBoer highlighted his versatility during the spring as he worked with the Tide’s cornerbacks.

“Between the corner and safety room, there is interchangeable pieces,” DeBoer said. “There is kind of a dual training that exists. Red Morgan can play multiple spots, and I’m just thinking about what the fan base would have seen a year ago. He was in different spots, safety, corner…We have multiple guys that can do a lot of those things.”

The Alabama native looks to be more impactful in year two.
