How much money Alabama football spent on recruiting in 2024

Alabama football spent $5.3 million on recruiting in 2024, per the financial reports submitted to the NCAA by 15 public SEC schools.

The reports were obtained by AL.com. 

The Crimson Tide ranked second in the SEC, according to the reports. Tennessee led the SEC in recruiting spending with $5.4 million. Texas A&M came in at No. 3, followed by Georgia and Oklahoma at No. 4 and No. 5.

Alabama saw an increase in its spending in 2024 after spending $2.9 million on recruiting in 2023.

Mississippi State ranked last in recruiting spending in the SEC by spending less than $1 million.
