Pro Football Focus released its All-PFF Team, which featured the top 25 NFL players from the last 25 years, and two former Alabama players made the list.
Derrick Henry and Julio Jones were both selected.
PFF’s best-in-class database powers the numbers behind the players’ career grades, which help contextualize the best players of the 2000s.
Over the course of his career, Henry has obtained a 96.8 career PFF grade. That grade is subject to change given the fact that Henry is still producing at a high level despite the fact that he is 30 years old.
Jones graded out with a 94.8 career PFF grade prior to his retirement several months ago.
Both Henry and Jones had successful college careers and went on to find sustained success at the next level as well. Both players also make a strong case to be the best player in NFL history at their respective positions. That is quite the testament to the careers that each of them put together in the NFL.
