5-Star LB sets commitment date

Xavier Griffin has confirmed he has set his commitment date for June 29th.

Griffin is a product of Gainesville High School in Georgia, and he is a 2026 five-star recruit. He will choose between Alabama, Florida State, Ohio State and Texas.

Alabama continues to recruit the five-star to play the WOLF linebacker position under Christian Robinson. The position calls for the linebacker to be effective at getting to the quarterback while rushing from the edge, play sideline to sideline and drop back and coverage to defend the pass in certain situations. These are all strong parts of Griffin’s game.
