Jireh Edwards shared he has announced a top six.
Edwards is a 2026 five-star recruit out of St. Frances Academy in Maryland. He is down to Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Florida, Oregon and Texas A&M.
The Crimson Tide looked to have become a serious contender for Edwards when they got him on campus for a visit in April.
At 6-foot-2 and 194 pounds, the five-star is a physical safety, who can make plays while lining up at different spots within St. Frances’ defense. He appears to be able to make plays at all three levels on the defensive side of the football as he excels at making tackles close to the line of scrimmage while lining up in the box to go along with his ability to make plays in coverage.
