3 Alabama football games among the most anticipated of 2025, per ESPN’s FPI

According to ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI) ratings, three of Alabama’s 2025 regular season games are rated in the top 10 of most anticipated of the 2025 season.

These games feature teams highly rated by the FPI, and the matchup quality rating is based on ESPN’s Analytics’ 0-100 scale.

The highest quality game involving Alabama is their road game against Georgia on Sept. 27. This matchup received a 97.6 game quality rating and is the third highest in college football behind Texas at Georgia on Nov. 15 and Texas at Ohio State on Aug. 30 with 99.3 and 98.9 game quality ratings respectively.

Alabama’s Oct. 25 game at South Carolina is the eighth-highest quality game of the 2025 season with a rating of 93.2, and the Iron Bowl rounds out the top 10 with a 92.8 rating.
