Former Alabama defensive back, Kool-Aid McKinstry will wear a new number in his sophomore season with the New Orleans Saints.

McKinstry will wear No. 4 during his second season in the NFL. The number was worn by quarterback Derek Carr for the past two seasons, but he retired this offseason due to a shoulder issue.

In 2024, McKinstry sported number 14 as a rookie. He was draft with the 41st pick in the second round by the Saints.

With his former Saints teammates Marshon Lattimore and Paulson Adebo no longer in New Orleans, McKinstry has a ton of opportunity ahead of him. He is preparing to play in a starting role in 2025 in new defensive coordinator Brandon Staley’s defense.
