Last week, Alabama football’s “The Bama Standard” YouTube series kicked off by focusing on the wide receivers, and this week’s episode will be on the defensive line.

The trailer came out on Wednesday, and the optimism for this position group is high.

“I feel like our D-line is one of the top D-line in the nation,” defensive back Domani Jackson said.

Alabama ranks 10th in returning defensive production according to ESPN’s FPI. Multiple veteran players like LT Overton, Tim Keenan II and Jah-Marien Latham are back for their final collegiate season, and players like James Smith are expected to have a huge breakout season.

After lining up across from the unit this spring, offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor said there are no soft spots in the trenches.

“It’s a physical group, from the ones to the threes,” Proctor said.

Episode two of The Bama Standard drops tomorrow on the UA Athletics YouTube.
