Florida State quarterback Thomas Castellanos didn’t hold back on his thoughts about playing Alabama during Week 1 of the upcoming season.
The Boston College transfer aired out his thoughts stating that the Crimson Tide are longer able to be saved by former head coach Nick Saban and that he wouldn’t be able to be stopped.
“I dreamed of moments like this. I dreamed of playing against Alabama,” Castellanos told to On3. “They don’t have Nick Saban to save them. I just don’t see them stopping me.”
His comments immediately made waves over social media leaving the door open to Alabama fans to strike back and react to his bold prediction.

Originally beginning his career at UCF, Castellanos has played for the Golden Eagles each of the past two seasons throwing 33 touchdowns and 19 interceptions within that time span.
After a promising start to the 2024 season, Castellanos was ultimately benched in favor of Grayson James. He would later transfer to the Seminoles who also saw its fair share of struggles a season ago where it finished with a disappointing 1-11 record which came off the back of a 13-1 season in 2023.
Castellanos will have the opportunity to back up his words on Aug. 30 when Florida State hosts Alabama to kickoff the season.
