Former Alabama football defensive coordinator, Pete Golding has signed an extension with the Ole Miss Rebels, making him the highest-paid assistant in the SEC, per the Clarion Ledger’s Sam Hutchens.
Golding was the Crimson Tide’s defensive coordinator from 2018 to 2022. He departed from the program and accepted the defensive coordinator job at Ole Miss in January of 2023.
The Rebels’ defensive coordinator will be paid $2.55 million during the upcoming season. per documents obtained by the Clarion Ledger. The payment is a part of a three-year deal, Golding signed in February.
