Nick Saban is not a fan of his former quarterback, Greg McElroy, sparking rumors about him returning to coaching football.
McElroy made headlines last month when he said someone close to Saban believed the legendary football coach was returning to coaching college football.
Saban was asked about those rumors at the Nick Saban Legacy Awards on Monday.
“I don’t know where that came from,” Saban said while laughing. “Greg McElroy played quarterback for us, and if he had done something like that as a player, he would have got his a** kicked.”
Saban’s coaching days continue to look like they are behind him.
