Alabama 5-Star RB commit suspended for first game of final season

Alabama football’s five-star running back commit, Ezavier Crowell will not play in Jackson High School’s season-opener against Saraland, per Simone Eli of WKRG in Mobile, Alabama.

This suspension is due to an amateurism violation, per Eli.

“Sources say the Tide’s 5-star commit accepted a gift that has since been returned,” Eli posted to X. “Crowell’s suspension stems from a self-reported violation by Jackson High School.”
