Alabama football’s wide receiver, Jalen Hale is excited to be back with his teammates after missing the entire 2024 season with a knee injury.
Hale was injured when the Crimson Tide were going through spring practice when was expected to take a step forward in year two in Tuscaloosa after flashing as a true freshman. The Texas product pulled in 148 yards and one touchdown on five receptions as a freshman in 2023.
After battling back from his injury, Hale is expected to be ready to go this weekend. He shared his excitement for the game to X.
“I have waited a whole year for this moment. To run out that tunnel with my family pads on ready play this game we love so much. Thank you GOD for allowing me to still do what I love. ROLLTIDE ROLL,” Hale posted to X.
Kalen DeBoer complimented Hale earlier in fall camp.
“Between he and then our medical staff, just doing an awesome job of pushing forward,” DeBoer said. “Our whole team is proud of him, not just me. We’ve talked about that in the winter during December. I remember addressing it with the team, guys being excited about having him out there, finally doing something with the team. And then the spring was the next step through the summer and him out there. But there’s reps that he hasn’t taken that other guys have. He’s still learning as we go and every rep he’s going to get more and more confident, but he’s certainly got a lot of tools and want to see his growth.”
