The college football universe and many around the sports world let Kalen DeBoer and Alabama football have it after being upset 31-17 by Florida State in their season opener on the road in Tallahassee.
One of those voices was former Fox & ESPN personality, Skip Bayless, who took to X to slam DeBoer and the Tide late Saturday evening.
“Alabama is no longer ALABAMA,” Bayless posted. “The new quarterback just isn’t good enough, and I’m having increasing doubts about the head coach, whose seat is now the hottest in college football.”
DeBoer and Alabama football will now look to regroup and bounce back at home on the turf of Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium when they take on the University of Louisiana at Monroe on Sept. 6.
