Ty Simpson made a promise to the Alabama football faithful after the Crimson Tide lost to Florida State.
Simpson and the Tide lost 31-17 on the road to open the season. The game was filled with a lack of execution and undisciplined play from the Crimson Tide. Simpson vowed to get this fixed after the game while talking to reporters.
“I promise you one thing, and that goes to every Alabama fan and my teammates, that I’m going to work hard and make sure we’re going to get this fixed,” Simpson said. “We’re going to make sure we get this right.”
Simpson completed 23-of-43 passes for 254 yards and two touchdowns in the loss.
