Alabama 5-Star RB commit sees opportunity to play early

yndication: Tuscaloosa News Dec 6, 2024; Birmingham, AL, USA; Cherokee County's Dylan Duncan (51) pursues Jackson's Ezavier Crowell (13) at Protective Stadium in the AHSAA 4A State Championship game.

Alabama football’s five-star running back commit, Ezavier Crowell remains committed to the Crimson Tide with several other programs interested in getting him on campus for a visit this fall.

Crowell attends Jackson High School in Alabama, and he is a 2026 five-star recruit. He has all the tools needed to make an impact on the collegiate level early in his career. While his goal is to take advantage of the opportunity to get on the field as a freshman in the future if the opportunity presents itself, the Alabama pledge is okay with developing some before he gets his shot.

“That’s the goal to play early, but if I can’t, I just develop, and maybe my sophomore, junior, possibly senior year, I run the program,” Crowell told Touchdown Alabama on Friday.

There are multiple other programs in contact with Crowell. He is lining up visits with some of those programs.
