Alabama football’s 37-20 win over Tennessee marks the end of the Crimson Tide’s gauntlet versus ranked opponents since their bye week.
Kalen DeBoer’s squad has collected victories over ranked conference teams like infinity stones, and No. 11 Tennessee is the latest ranked team to lose to Alabama, joining Georgia, Vanderbilt and Missouri.
Alabama has made history in the process. This 2025 Alabama football team is the first and only team in SEC history to defeat four ranked opponents in a row with no open dates.
There is one more SEC opponent left before Alabama’s next bye week, but it is unranked South Carolina. The Crimson Tide will need to take that game seriously and handle business on the road.
After that game and the bye week, Alabama will have two more ranked teams remaining on the schedule. Alabama will welcome LSU and Oklahoma to Tuscaloosa before the season is over, and the Crimson Tide could finish the year with six victories over ranked opponents.
