The University of Alabama is investigating an incident involving Dre Kirkpatrick Jr., according to Tide 100.9’s Wyatt Fulton.
The alleged incident reportedly occurred during the Crimson Tide’s BYE week. The university did not reveal any details of the incident but said it is gathering information.

“We are aware of an incident involving Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. and are working to gather more information,” a statement released by the university read.
The sophomore is the son of former Alabama and NFL cornerback, Dre Kirkpatrick. He has mainly contributed on special teams this season, but he has also provided depth in the Tide’s secondary at times. He has accounted for nine total tackles, one tackle for loss and a forced fumble through eight games.
