Alabama football defeated the Vanderbilt Commodores earlier in the season, and it was a game the Crimson Tide is happy they won from a resume standpoint.
Diego Pavia left the field after the game and had an interaction with an Alabama fan after the 30-14 defeat at the hands of the Tide. Before this interaction. he shook hands with Ty Simpson and let him know he plans to get his revenge back against Alabama, possibly in the playoff.
“I talked to Ty Simpson,” Nick Saban said on ESPN’s College GameDay. “Ty Simpson said after Alabama beat Vanderbilt, shaking hands with Diego, he said we will see you again.”
The Crimson Tide and the Commodores are both currently ranked in the College Football Playoff Top 25. The Tide is the No. 4 team while Vanderbilt is ranked No. 16.
