Alabama football’s 2027 quarterback commit Trent Seaborn is a state champion once again.

Seaborn led the Warriors to their 6th 7A State Championship with a win over Opelika on Wednesday night. He threw for three touchdowns in a dominant 48-3 win for the Warriors.

The Alabama pledge got the Warriors into the end zone for the first time in the game when he zipped the football to Trey Knight for a seven-yard touchdown score in the second quarter.

Seaborn was at it again later in the quarter when he launched a 33-yard pass to Pryce Lewis to extend Thompson’s lead. The two connected again in the second quarter when Seaborn escaped from the pocket, got the ball to Lewis and the wideout did the rest.

Seaborn’s performance helped him surpass the 10,000-yard career passing mark. He was humble in his reaction to this feat and thanked those around him for allowing him to do so.

“I didn’t even know that,” Seaborn said when notified of his accomplishment. “That’s something I’m not really worried about. My first focus is to help the team win a state championship but to have that accomplishment, that is pretty cool.”
