Kalen DeBoer revealed a second Alabama defensive lineman will be out against Georgia in the SEC Championship.
The Crimson Tide’s starting bandit or field-side defensive end LT Overton was listed as out against Georgia in the initial SEC availibility report for the game on Wednesday. DeBoer confirmed one of Overton’s fellow bandit defenders and a key depth piece for the Tide’s defensive line will also be out in Kelby Collins.
“LT Overton and Kelby Collins, they won’t be available for this game,” DeBoer said.
Collins has played in every game for the Crimson Tide this season. He was expected to possibly earn more snaps with Overton out. The Alabama native has accounted for 11 total tackles, two tackles for loss and a sack this season.
