The University of Alabama’s Yea Alabama initiative announced Lotzeir Brooks is sticking with the Crimson Tide.
“Lotzeir Brooks chose to re-up with Alabama after a strong close to the season. He talks his decision to stay at Alabama, cites strong relationship with Coach Kalen DeBoer and Ryan Grubb,” Yea Alabama’s Director of Content Aaron Suttles posted to X.
This is big news for the Crimson Tide. The explosive freshman wide receiver has a bright future ahead of with his dynamic speed and athleticism. He returns to Alabama with the expectations of being a key contributor next season.
The New Jersey native finished the 2025 football season with 441 receiving yards and two touchdowns on 32 receptions. He had a breakout performance against Oklahoma in the first round of the College Football Playoff when he pulled in two touchdown receptions.
