Tony Diaz reported an offer from Alabama football.
Diaz is a former UT Rio Grande Valley wide receiver. He is listed as a redshirt freshman on the Vaqueros’ 2025 football roster. The Tide is set to get him on campus on Friday.
The 5-foot-11, 176-pounder pulled in 68 receptions for 875 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2025. His best game of the season was against McNeese State. He pulled in seven receptions for 134 yards and three touchdowns against the Cowboys.

Alabama has lost multiple wide receivers to the transfer portal. Their wideout room could use a couple of more talented pieces after Alabama only signed one 2026 wide receiver prospect in Cederian Morgan.
